UNIT-100 is a factory in Zhongshan that cuts and sews oversized T-shirts for clothing brands. Our oversized tee has its own pattern: the shoulder seam drops down the arm, and the body is wider and a little longer than our regular tee. A custom order starts at 100 pieces per style and per color.
44 of the short-sleeve tees in our catalog are oversized, plain or printed. You can start from one of them, from our oversized size chart, or from a tee you already own. Need fewer than 100? Six of our stock blanks are oversized tees of 220 to 310 GSM, from 50 pieces per style with colors and sizes mixed. A stock tee keeps its own fit.

What makes a T-shirt oversized?
An oversized T-shirt is wider and a little longer than a regular one, with a dropped shoulder. The shoulder seam sits on the upper arm, not on the shoulder. In size M, our oversized tee measures 61 cm across the chest, laid flat. That is the half chest, 7 cm more than on our regular tee. It is 56 cm across the shoulders, 9 cm more, so each shoulder seam sits 4.5 cm further out. The body is 1 cm longer, at 72 cm, and the sleeve is 1 cm longer, at 22 cm.
The table shows size M from the two charts on our tech pack page. Both charts run from XS to 3XL. The neck is 1 cm wider on the oversized tee, with a 2.5 cm rib. The tolerance is how far a finished tee may measure from the chart.

The fit sets the size chart, not the price: an oversized tee costs the same as a regular tee in the same fabric. In 240–300 GSM fabrics, a blank tee is $5.90–$11.70 a piece at 100 pieces. Prices are from our T-shirt tech pack page on October 31, 2026 and can move with the exchange rate. Our shipping quotes include duties and taxes. A sample tee with a one-color print costs about $60.
Cut, sewn and printed in Zhongshan
We cut, sew and pack in our own factory in Shaxi Town, Zhongshan, and print in our own print shop in Henglan Town, Zhongshan: 70+ people work in the garment factory and 40+ in the print shop. Washing, garment dyeing, embroidery and sublimation printing are done at partner factories, and so is part of the sewing when our own lines are full.
Our sample room has two pattern makers. From a photo or a garment, a pattern takes about 3 days, and our pattern makers grade the sizes too. Before every bulk run we make a pre-production sample, and our QC team checks before production starts, during it and at the end.
UNIT-100 has made clothes since 2001, when our owner's father founded the company. We make about 2 million garments a year; a typical order is 300 to 400 pieces, and about 38% of our customers order again. Send a photo or a tech pack
We reply within 24 hours with a price and the questions we need answered.
Sample
About 3–7 days plain, about 10 with one print or embroidery, 12–13 with both, and 14–18 days or more with a wash.
Approve and pay the deposit
You check the fit, weight and print on the sample, then pay a 30–50% deposit to start bulk.
Bulk
7–20 working days after you approve the sample. Every batch gets an AQL 2.5 inspection, a random sample checked against the agreed tolerances; pieces outside them are reworked, remade or compensated.
Ship
Before you pay the balance, we send photos or a video of your goods. To the US it takes about 7 days by air, about $400 for 100 tees, or about 20 days by sea.
You can pay by bank transfer or PayPal, or order through Alibaba or Made-in-China. You are welcome to send your own inspector. Sizes can be mixed inside each 100. Fabric is cut in whole rolls, so for some fabrics the quote may suggest a larger run per color to use a full roll. Fewer than 100 pieces? Our stock blanks start at 50 per style, with colors and sizes mixed.
FAQ
Should an oversized T-shirt be unisex?
Often not. A unisex oversized tee cut for men comes out too loose on most women. And in the US, where many men are tall, brands set a unisex body length very long, and the tee then sells badly. We have seen both with brands in the US, Germany and the UK.
If you sell to both, ask us for a sample in two sizes, or set the body length for your smaller customers.
Is an oversized T-shirt just a regular tee one size up?
An oversized T-shirt from our factory is not a regular tee one size up. It is cut from its own pattern, with a dropped shoulder. Sizing up a regular tee adds width and length together, and the shoulder seam stays near the shoulder.
Compare our charts. A regular L is 59 cm across the chest, close to the oversized M at 61 cm. But the regular L is 73.5 cm long and 49 cm across the shoulders. The oversized M is 72 cm long and 56 cm across. You get the room in the chest and shoulders without the extra length.
Does a dropped shoulder change where my print sits?
A dropped shoulder moves a sleeve or shoulder print, not a chest print. On our oversized tee each shoulder seam sits 4.5 cm further out than on our regular tee, so a print measured from that seam lands lower on the arm. A front or back print is measured from the neck seam, so it stays where you put it.
The wider body leaves room for a large print. On full custom a print can be any size, and a bigger print costs more. We print in our own print shop in Zhongshan, and you check the position on the sample before bulk.
Can I make your oversized tee longer or wider?
Yes: you can change any measurement on our oversized tee, such as a longer body for a longline look. Send the numbers in centimeters for your base size, usually M. Or send a tee you like: we use it as the sample, and you tell us which size it should be.
On our chart, from size S up, each size adds 5 cm across the chest and 2.5 cm to the body length. You check the new measurements on the sample before bulk. Want it wider and shorter instead? That is a boxy fit T-shirt.
